Managing Director Associate This wealth management firm provides advanced planning strategies and a wide array of investment management services to high net worth families, endowments and foundations, and institutions to help them reach specific financial objectives. Firm’s clients are located throughout the world. They have over $75 billion in assets under management as of fourth quarter 2016. Position Seeking a Managing Director’s Associate who will support the Senior Managing Director in the New York Office. This person will work in a dynamic, trust based partnership providing support in all facets of the business. The Associate plays a vital role in managing and maintaining client relationships between the management team and both internal and external clients. Job Qualifications We are interested in candidates with the following attributes: College degree preferredMinimum 3 full years of administrative or executive support experience in a corporate or professional officeExcellent verbal and written communication skills for heavy internal and external interactionAbility to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environmentSelf-starter with excellent anticipation skills, problem solving, and follow upEffective interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to a variety of personalitiesComfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels, as well as external clientsAbility to perform a wide variety of tasks and flexibility to change focus quickly as demands changeStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, team player with positive attitudeDemonstrates high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and dependabilityProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Job Description Managing Director’s Associate to partner with the Senior Managing Director of NY in the following areas: Business Development and Marketing: Create & maintain customized presentations for performance reviews & business strategy meetings with AdvisorsIndependently analyze advisor and client trends (i.e., product adoption, retention, etc.) & provide guidance to MDPartner with MD to develop weekly team meeting contentPrioritize business needs on behalf of the MDDevelop ongoing training presentations Internal and External Client Interaction:Interact with clients (directly and indirectly) to support all aspects of their servicing needs related to the management of their relationship, including ad hoc requestsProvide service and support functions such as portfolio analysis, account creation, maintenance and client/prospect meeting preparationCreate and deliver customized correspondence and analyses Human Capital:Manage new Advisor recruitment pipelineEscalate high priority items to the attention of the MDInteract and network with senior professionals throughout the firm to drive business needs Executive Administrative Support:Schedule and maintain meetings, appointments and travel plans to effectively manage the calendarHandle a high volume of phone calls from external clients as well as internal contactsProvide general administrative duties including writing and editing correspondence, database maintenance, reconciling monthly expenses, filing, scheduling, faxing, and management reportingWork on projects of increasing responsibility for the business Firm will sponsor candidate to take the Series 7 & 63 licensesHours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
